We’re building our quality management system to ISO 9001 across the whole shop. Not for the certificate, but for what it does on the floor: repeatable processes that produce good parts, run after run.

■ Every part checked: At least one part from every line item on every order is inspected, recorded and filed.
■ Labeled and traceable.: each part is labeled with its part number, revision and date. Our inspection tools are tracked and calibrated on a set schedule.
■ Only the current revision reaches the floor: When a new revision comes in, the shop floor sees only that revision. Old revisions are archived, never deleted.
■ Problems get fixed at the root: Nonconforming parts are red-tagged and kept from leaving the building. Bigger issues go through formal corrective action, and finding the root cause sometimes takes us back to engineering.

FAQ
Yes. We understand how important confidentiality is to our customers. We frequently work under an NDA, either ours or yours, and your drawings and specifications stay your property.
Will my drawings stay confidential?
Yes. CODI provides copper busbar punching, forming, and bending for OEM customers, using the same equipment and processes built for our own UL 891 switchboard and generator docking station lines. Work is performed in-house at our 100,000 sq ft Littleton, Colorado facility. Busbars are ink-labeled for lot control and shipped on CODI-built pallets.
Does CODI offer contract manufacturing for copper busbar fabrication?
CODI offers laser cutting, forming, welding and screen printing for sheet metal enclosures and frames, with powder coating through our local finishing partner. We build to your specifications or drawings, from prototype parts through production volumes.
What sheet metal fabrication and welding services does CODI provide for OEM partners?
Yes. CODI is a production partner for enclosure and panel manufacturers that need repeat production. For overflow runs, call us at 303-277-1542 to check current capacity.
Can CODI take on overflow fabrication capacity for electrical enclosure or panel manufacturers?
Yes. CODI’s in-house engineers review your parts so they can be made efficiently and precisely, and you get a single point of contact from drawing to finished product.
Does CODI offer engineering support with contract fabrication work?
Yes. CODI cuts fiberglass (GPO-3) insulators and barriers in-house to your drawings, including Glastic® GPO-3. We produce cut-to-print components for switchgear, panelboards, busbar systems and other electrical equipment.
Can CODI cut GPO-3 or Glastic electrical insulation material?
Not yet. We’re building our quality management system to ISO 9001 across the whole shop, with more than 100 written procedures, formal QA and QC, and first article inspection already in place.
