The CODI Generator Docking Station is a UL 891-listed dead-front switchboard engineered as a permanent connection point for temporary generator access. Built for critical power projects, each unit is configured around the site’s voltage, amperage, available fault current, connection type, enclosure rating, interlocking, metering, and project-specific safety options. Designed and assembled in Littleton, Colorado.

    • NEC 406.13: Design supports safe use of Single-Pole Separable Interconnects (Cam-Locks)

    • Service Entrance (SE): Suitable for use as Service Equipment when specified (per NEC 230)

    • Configurations to comply with NFPA 110 section 8.4:  Options built for required load bank testing critical systems i.e. hospitals, data centers

    • Voltage: Configurable for 208Y/120V, 480Y/277V, and 600V 3-Phase AC systems

    • Ampacity: Available in continuous current ratings from 400A to 4000A

    • Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR): Standard 65kAIC bracing; options available up to 100kAIC to match facility fault current requirements

    • Environmental: TYPE 3R (Outdoor) rating standard for protection against rain, sleet, and snow; Stainless Steel available for corrosive environments

    • Service Entrance: Optional Service Entrance (SE) rating allows the unit to serve as the primary disconnect point (per NEC 230)

    • Construction: UL 891 dead-front construction

    • Enclosure: Galvannealed steel with powder-coat or stainless steel finish

    • Surge Protection: Integrated Type 1 or Type 2 Surge Protective Devices (SPD) available to shield sensitive downstream electronics from transient voltage spikes

    • Instrumentation: Phase Rotation Monitor and optional Voltage Indicator(s) ensure safe synchronization with facility power systems before connection

    • Interlocking: Kirk Key or mechanical walking-beam interlocks available to prevent cross-connection and ensure safe transfer sequences between utility and generator power

    • Connector Safety: Design supports compliance with NEC 406.13 for Single-Pole Separable Interconnects (Cam-Locks), preventing accidental disconnection under load

    • Dead-Front Design: Internal barriers prevent accidental contact with live busbars during operation or maintenance

    • Grounding: Dedicated grounding studs and fully rated ground bus ensure personnel safety during temporary power setup
